Carnage from Kash topples Ladder in latest T20

Bolstered by a number of fine ringers to flesh out our numbers, the Strollers emerged victorious last night at Alexandra Palace after a thrilling encounter with the Archway Ladder which almost went to the wire.

Having won the toss, our chances of victory were set up mainly thanks to débutant opener Neeraj (47) and Kash, who almost smashed his way into the record books as the first Stroller to notch up a T20 ton before he was cruelly stumped on 93. An awesome innings nonetheless which helped us on our way to posting a huge total of 197-5.

The oppo made an alarmingly good fist of trying to chase down the imposing target with star player Mahroof carrying his bat on 64. However Ron kept their efforts in check with some expert bowling at the death, collecting a well-earned threefer in the process as the oppo were dismissed just 12 short of our total.

A great match by all accounts that takes us into this Sunday's trip to Dulwich with winning momentum!
