Strollers go Viral as Maginificent Seven secure win at Sandon

Despite several frustrating late withdrawals, the seven Strollers that made their way to Sandon yesterday to take on our namesake club recorded a memorable win. On a minefield of a pitch Viral was the star of our innings with a scintillating 75 with some valuable late order support from a couple of locals drafted in on the spot, allowing us to close on a respectable 154 on a difficult track.

In response, our seamers took full use of the pitch and made early inroads into the Sandon reply with Boughey collecting a superb threefer, including his hundredth Strollers wicket. The belligerent Heath threatened at times to regain the oppo's advantage but late wickets from Harvey and Couldrey put any doubts to rest and we emerged victorious, earning the right to wear the Strollers badge for another year.

Once again, enormous thanks to all at Sandon, generous hosts and always a pleasure to play. We look forward to next year!
