An eclectic batsman who, when opening, may score 20 off the first over or be out first ball of the innings aiming an almighty heave over cow corner, it is therefore strange that Fallon J (cf Fallon G, cousin) holds the record for the slowest ever Strollers half century, having carried his bat for 53 against the Battersea Bohemians in 2002.

Built for comfort rather than speed, his contribution with the ball has apparently been hindered by an arm injury. Would keep wicket more but Matt Morgan gets arsey when he doesn’t have the gloves.
