As one of the influx of new Strollers during the 2016 season, Abhik caused instant indignation amongst his new team mates on his début by wearing what looked suspiciously like a 'green baggy'. However such aspersions were offset when we quickly realised his ability to bowl a mean inswinger on a good length. Any lingering feelings of discontent were firmly cast aside later in the season with his 'Headingley-esque' knock of 62 to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against a somewhat forlorn Sunday Times XI when he he brought us back from 7 down with a hundred needed to claim the unlikeliest of wins. We can only assume that Abhik will now similarly follow in Botham's celebrated footsteps towards drug abuse and subsequent arrest.
